Day 11: You don't get better than South Africa.

Neighbour Goods: one of the most feel-good places in South Africa; a place I'm really going to miss when I leave Johannesburg because I don't think you can find such places so essentially South African anywhere else. There are all sorts of people there, and you cannot believe a place so hidden away would be so full of diversity. Filled with all sorts of delicious food from all around the world (except the Ethiopian food - don't try that), snacks, desserts, smoothies, a few small stores with clothes, accessories and bags, and our favourite - the alcoholic beverages.

On this particular day, Busang's 18th birthday, we did not hesitate to consume copious amounts of daquiri - as you can see and even, at one point, went on to order a jug of it. We also tried a jug of Pimm's which I thought was delicious but, alas, I was alone on that - except for the fact it was left all to me. We ordered our drinks and kept them coming.

If you are ever looking for a cultural place to spend a Saturday and fill your tummy, Neighbour Goods is more than perfect. You don't get better than a South African vibe.
